Summer Sounds

Today I took Z to the Hollywood Bowl for a children's music and art program called Summer Sounds. Today's theme was Mexico.

First she colored a skull in the theme of the Mexican holiday The Day of the Dead.

I really like it.

Then we watched a show with a Mariachi band and traditional Mexican dancing.

Z (in the yellow shirt) dancing with her favorite senorita.

After we had a picnic and playtime at the park with our homeschool friends. I think Z was putting on her own show.

Very cool! Great mask by Z, with cool color choices. Ami loves Dia de los Muertos, so we usually attend the local celebration in November.
