This morning her Pere was giving her a hug before he left for work and she said, "That wasn't a real hug. It was too quick! Don't pain me with your false hugs!"
*shakes head*
This is what comes from reading too much historical fiction. Can you relate?

Oh yes. Citcat uses words like weeping and beckon and I have to laugh. She also likes to tell me that she wants a "proper snack."
We have the same thing here. The only example I can think of off the top of my head is an old one - when she saw something surprising and said, "oh my goodness gracious me, look at that!" In fact, whenever she's shocked by something she always says, "oh my goodness!"
