Saturday at the Beach
Friday night after dinner we drive up to the Channel Islands house. It is a good thirty degrees cooloer there. It was nice to be able to escape the over 100 degree days.
We went to the beach across the street Saturday afternoon but it was kind of cold. There we are lot of people flying kites on the beach and at the park, and we wre inspired to go the kite shop the next day.

Gracie had the exact same red dress in a size 3t, only it had long sleeves...Adorable! I love the sunglasses above too. I'll bet it felt great to beat the heat! We had a heat wave today as well.
