My Mother's Day's outing

For Mother's Day Pere and Z took me to the Descano Gardens. It is hard to decide what part was my favorite. I liked the Japanese Garden of course. The Boddy House, had this cool retro 1960's kitchen, it was very funny. I also really enjoyed the train ride with Pere and Z around the children's area. But going through small and secret looking trails was probably the best.

Z enjoyed herself sketching the flowers.

What beautiful pictures! Here in MN it has been cool and rainy this weekend, and we are sapped from a big birthday party for our 3-yr.-old, so Mom's day is very low key. Thanks for the tip on Harry Potter Correspondence School! I am getting on the group list. I'm guessing you've done the Davidson thing -- maybe you'd want to write a post sometime about what you think of it so far, if you've made use of it yet.

Happy Birthday to your daughter!

If I get myself together I will probaby do the Howarts school too.

We did do Davidson. I will spend some time thinking on the post idea.

Looks like you had a beautiful day! We also had rain in IN so spent the day inside and at the fab double-decker carousel.
