tea party

Today was Z's Tante Juliet's annual tea party. This year Z got to spend the night with her aunt and then help her bake for the party.

Tante Juliet dreams of opening her own tea house someday but until then we get to taste her treats on special family occassions but this is the most elaborate (and yummy!)

She usually makes four courses including tea sandwiches, homemade scones with homemade jams, and some special dessert. This time it was cake that Z helped to prepare and the Gray family fudge recipe.

I am lucky to have married into a family of such good cooks.
